Danny believed in people. He saw potential before it was realized and made others feel seen, valued, and capable. Whether he was traveling the world with friends, building his business, or teeing off at the golf course, Danny lived by principle, led with heart, and believed in leaving things better than he found them.

He was irrationally generous—and it was never transactional.

Raised with a strong work ethic and shaped by mentors who gave him a glimpse of what was possible, Danny spent his life paying that forward. He believed deeply in helping others build lives they could be proud of. He passed that vision on to his son, John, who continues the legacy through this foundation.

John created the foundation to honor his dad’s legacy and give back to the city that gave their family so much. Community has always been at the heart of his life, and he believes that “community issues deserve a community response.”

Danny had a dream of stepping away from the trucking world and pouring his time into something that gave back. Though he passed before that vision became reality, this foundation brings that dream to life.

“There are two times you die—once when you leave the earth, and once when your name is spoken for the last time. This will keep him around for a long time.”
